Jessica Pegula uncertain for Roland-Garros

As Roland-Garros (May 26 – June 9) approaches, we can expect some package announcements. Jessica Pegula started a story on her Instagram account. The 30-year-old American, fifth in the world, has already withdrawn from Stuttgart and Madrid due to an injury whose nature she did not reveal. She has now formalized her package for Rome and leaves doubts at Roland-Garros.

“I will miss the Rome tournament and maybe the RG (Roland-Garros). In fact, I feel very good, but I have to go back to training and do everything step by step.”, he said, suggesting the Paris Grand Slam would come too early in its recovery phase. Last year Pegula was stopped in the third round by Elise Mertens (6-1, 6-3).
